Dr. Robert Overholt has been in private practice since 1970 and is a renowned
expert on medical and health issues. He is certified by both the American
Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Overholt received his M.D. from the University of Tennessee Medical
School in Memphis, TN. He then completed a three-year internal medicine
residency followed by his allergy fellowship at the University of Michigan.
In 1970, Dr. Overholt began his allergy and immunology practice in Knoxville.
In addition to practicing medicine fulltime and his busy schedule of
"The Dr. Bob Show" and other media events, Dr. Overholt is in
frequent demand as a speaker on a variety of medical issues, both at professional
meetings and community events. His written articles cover a wide range
of medical subjects and are published regularly in regional and national
presses.
Dr. Overholt has maintained an active role in medical research and is
a Fellow with the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and
the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.
